Darling Nikki
Nikki Johnson was the perfect wife to millionaire real estate tycoon Duncan Johnson until discovering his mistress and love child. Stressed out by her husband's infidelity, her teenage son's carelessness, and her son's pregnant girlfriend moving in, Nikki has had enough. When Duncan cannot get in touch with his upset wife, he uncovers evidence that makes him suspicious of a secret affair going on between Nikki and her ex-husband, Chance Brown, and wonders if she is the culprit behind a death threat he receives.Chance, a successful attorney, is just as skeptical when his once spiteful ex-wife comes back into the picture, remarried, claiming to still be in love with him. During a private getaway to Las Vegas, Nikki's bitter side re-emerges as they reminisce on their past relationship, how he has neglected their son since the divorce, and why he cheated on her with a close family friend. His suspicions are confirmed when Nikki lures him into a death trap, but why? With a dangerous love triangle and a mother out for revenge, Darling Nikki is a cunningly crafted thriller sure to keep readers guessing until the very end.--Publisher's description.

This book started out pretty good. Actually it was good until the very end when it got very confusing. Nikki was married to Chance, her college sweetheart, and cheated on her husband, which produced a pregnancy. She never told her husband he wasn't the father. Eventually they divorced when she found out he had cheated as well with her best friend. She got remarried to her high school sweetheart, Duncan, and found out he cheated and fathered a daughter with his mistress. She thought her first husband had molested her son, Rayshad, who turned out to be gay, and killed him by poisoning him. It turned out the second husband was the one who molested Rayshad. Rayshad killed him and Nikki took the blame for it, but never got caught for the murder she actually did commit. She was sentenced to 39.5 yrs in prison. Somehow she got out of prison (which they don't tell how), collected insurance from Chance and inherited all of Duncan's estate. Then she spoke about how she was now a woman, which she already was throughout the entire book. Can you say confusing?
